What it is

Midlife Vitality by Ruth Astbury is a unique six-week health and wellbeing course for women in midlife, blending relaxation, genuine conversation, and gentle movement into one supportive 60-minute session.

Each week, you’ll start the session with grounding breathwork to settle the nervous system, then we will explore a practical wellbeing topic in a safe space to ask questions and share experiences. We will finish with calming mobility and breathwork to leave you feeling more in tune with your body, your mind clearer, and your energised.

It’s not a fitness class, and it’s not a lecture. 

It’s a session to nourish your mind, body, build confidence through your midlife transition, and create simple habits that actually stick.

What happens each week (60 mins)

15 mins Grounding breathwork (settle your nervous system)
20 mins Wellbeing topic (clear, practical, myth-busting)
10 mins Discussion + Q&A (make it real for your life)
15 mins Gentle mobility + calming breathwork (downshift + restore)

  • Week 3: Lifestyle changes that work - the “Big Rocks”

  • Week 4: Nutrition for midlife vitality

  • Week 6: Pulling it all together - your new lifestyle blueprint

What to bring

✅ Yoga mat
✅ Water
✅ Blanket and/or warm jumper (you may cool down during breathwork) and wear comfy layers you can move in.
