About Ruth Astbury
I’m Ruth Astbury, a Therapeutic Wellbeing & Fitness Coach and Women’s Health & Wellbeing Specialist, supporting women 40+ with a practical mind–body approach.
After 25 years in the fast-paced corporate world, I now live a more adventurous, grounded, and energised life - and I’m living proof that women over 40 can rebuild strength, confidence, and vitality in midlife. My own experience of stress, burnout, and midlife change didn’t just transform my health - it became the catalyst for the work I do today: therapeutic wellbeing and fitness coaching for women 40+.
Through deep self-reflection and sustainable lifestyle changes, I’m now fitter, calmer, and more connected to my body than I ever was in my 20s. That personal reset sparked a mission to help active midlife women do the same - with practical tools that work in real life.
I’m a Certified Therapeutic Coach, hormonal health, fitness, and lifestyle coach, and a Level 3 Personal Trainer. My training includes Burrell Education and the 3rd Age Woman Certificate, plus qualifications as a Nutritional Advisor.
Everything I offer blends therapeutic coaching with evidence-based movement, nutrition, recovery, and somatic practices - so your progress feels sustainable, not punishing.
